This show started with a really simple, lazy premise: what were the least amount of words I could use and still have the calls be funny.

  • For example, calling a hotel and just repeating the words "room" and "refund" can actually generate a few minutes conversation.

  • And then it veered into chaos when I started gaslamping people into thinking I could only hear them speaking other languages to me.

  • Patrick, the front desk reception from Days Inn used some very naughty words when he thought I couldn't speak English. This call sequence is easily in my new top 10 favorite calls. 00:30:40

  • Then I inquired about the hotel's policy on tasteful nudity and just improved it from there.

  • I also called to apologize for accidentally walking out with the hotel vacuum, and tv, by accident, and maybe to see if they know how to get it to work.

  • And lastly, I did take the time to let some hotels know my new number, just in case they ever need it.
