This show started with a really simple, lazy premise: what were the least amount of words I could use and still have the calls be funny.
For example, calling a hotel and just repeating the words "room" and "refund" can actually generate a few minutes conversation.
And then it veered into chaos when I started gaslamping people into thinking I could only hear them speaking other languages to me.
Patrick, the front desk reception from Days Inn used some very naughty words when he thought I couldn't speak English. This call sequence is easily in my new top 10 favorite calls. 00:30:40
Then I inquired about the hotel's policy on tasteful nudity and just improved it from there.
I also called to apologize for accidentally walking out with the hotel vacuum, and tv, by accident, and maybe to see if they know how to get it to work.
And lastly, I did take the time to let some hotels know my new number, just in case they ever need it.
